ADA is a zwitterionic buffer used in biochemistry and molecular biology, such as its use in protein-free medium for supporting chick embryo fibroblasts. It has also been shown to interfere with color development in bicinchoninic acid assay (BCA) for protein quantitation and used in isoelectric focusing of proteins in immobilized pH gradients.For laboratory use only.
