Adapter, Transfer, PTFE, 24/40 Inner to 24-400 Female Thread. Adapters simplify the transfer of powders/solids from flasks into vials. PTFE adapters have a knurled gripping ring at the top to facilitate removal of the adapter from the flask joint. Adapters are available to accommodate sample vials (GPI threads) and scintillation vials (22mm threads). Allows transfer of samples without exposure to air or moisture.Tapered interior of adapter prevents hold up.Reduces steps by transferring directly to a vial, no other tools are needed.Directions: Screw vial into the top of the transfer adapter. Insert other end of adapter into flask joint. Invert assembly and gently tap vial on a soft surface to transfer contents from flask into the vial.
