The 10474 allows you to choose the exact cutting depth and to maintain that depth until there is a need to change it. Use the depth adjustment roller to set the maximum length the blade can extend. The 10474 comes with a finger-friendly™ edge blade that is non-magnetic, non-conductive, and never rusts.

Simply use the depth adjustment roller to set the maximum length the blade can extend. To use this auto-retractable tool, engage the slider while cutting—the blade will only extend as far as you've chosen—and release it when you're done. Once the slider is released, the blade automatically retracts back into its housing for safety.
