  • Demonstrates dose-dependent inhibition of mutant IDH1 enzyme in TS603 glioma cells.
  • Does not impair colony formation of patient-derived glioma lines expressing only wild-type IDH1.
  • Reverses increased reactive oxygen species, DNA double-strand breaks, and cell death in IDH1(R132H) cancer cells exposed to ionizing radiation.
  • Causes 50 to 60% growth inhibition of human glioma xenografts in vivo.
  • Reduces Ki-67 protein staining in tumors from treated mice.
  • Does not affect the growth of IDH1 wild-type glioma xenografts.
