AIM V (research grade) is a medium designed for the proliferation and/or manipulation of T cells, dendritic cells, and other immune cells.
AIM V Medium contains L-glutamine, streptomycin sulfate at 50 μg/mL, and gentamicin sulfate at 10 μg/mL.

The difference is in the intended usage of the two media. AIM V Medium (Cat. Nos. 12055083, 12055091) is for research use only whereas CTS AIM V SFM (Cat. Nos. 0870112DK, 0870112BK) is for research use or manufacturing of cell, gene, or tissue-based products.
You can try using AIM V Medium (Cat. No. 12055083 or 12055091) for growth of mouse T cells. For mouse cells, we recommend adding 50 µM beta-mercaptoethanol (Cat. No. 21985023).
