Aluminum Heat Transfer Block, Minum-Ware. The Chemglass heat transfer block is designed to be used with MINUM-WARE microscale glassware components instead of the sand bath method of heating. The block is 3in square x 3/4in thick and has holes to accommodate the MW-80 reaction vials. Four holes are also provided for use in heating the lower portion of the MW-74 Craig recrystallization tubes. They are placed close together to minimize spillage when doing transfers in the recrystallization process. The 13mm hole can also be used to heat a 13 x 100 test tube. A hole is provided for insertion of the MW-110 thermometer.
