This antibody was affinity purified using Arp3 (C-terminal region) peptide (without carrier). The antibody detects a 47 kDa* doublet corresponding to the molecular mass of Arp3 on SDS-PAGE immunoblots of human A431, Jurkat, and HeLa cells, and in rat PC12 cells. The immunogen was Arp3 (C-terminal region) synthetic peptide (coupled to KLH) corresponding to amino acid residues in the C-terminal region of human Arp3. This peptide sequence is highly conserved in rat, mouse, chicken, fish, and yeast Arp3 proteins. Accession #P61158.
