Chickens were immunized with highly purified African Swine Fever Virus (ASFV) p30 and the eggs were collected and delipidated. Antibody was immunoaffinity purified off an ASFV p30 containing immunosorbent. Antibody concentration was determined using an absorbance at 280 nm: 1.32 equals 1.0 mg of IgY. This antibody reacts with ASFV p30 and is suitable for blotting and ELISA applications. Optimal working dilutions should be determined experimentally by the investigator.
