Affinity purified polyclonal antibody to the Campylobacter species made in Goat and labeled with alkaline phosphatase. Isolated from a serum pool of goats immunized with different strains of heat-killed whole cells of Camplyobacter. This antibody is highly specific for Camplyobacter and recognizes all 22 Camplyobacter strains tested in KPL's laboratory. The intensity of the reaction may vary with the strain of Camplyobacter tested. It may also show occasional low level cross-reactivity to Helicobacter pylori under certain test conditions. Product is in lyophilized form. Each lot is tested to assure specificity and lot-to-lot consistency using KPL's in-house ELISA assay.
