Goats were immunized with CHO Lysosomal protective protein (CTSA) of recombinant origin and antiserum were collected. The antibody was immunoaffinity purified off an antigen containing immunosorbent. Antibody concentration was determined using an absorbance at 280 nm: 1.4 equals 1.0 mg of IgG. This antibody reacts with CHO CTSA of recombinant origin and CTSA secreted by a null CHO cell line as determined by ELISA and western blot. Optimal working dilutions should be determined experimentally by the investigator.
