It employs an Amplifier Antibody followed by a VectaFluor DyLight 488–labeled detection system, with all reagents supplied as stabilized, ready-to-use solutions for maximum convenience. The technology used to conjugate VectaFluor reagents to the DyLight dyes ensures maximum labeling without compromising antibody affinity or specificity, and all reagents in the kit are affinity-purified and extensively cross-adsorbed to ensure high sensitivity and low background. DyLight dyes offer several advantages, including brighter fluorescence, greater photostability, and pH independence. DyLight 488 has an excitation maximum of 493 nm and an emission maximum of 518 nm.
