The mice were inoculated with recombinant Feline Calicivirus VP1 (UniProt# A2T4P2). This mouse IgG2a is purified using Protein A chromatography. It is produced from tissue culture media obtained at our facility in The United States. Antibody concentration was determined using an absorbance at 280 nm: 1.4 equals 1.0 mg of IgG. This antibody reacts with recombinant FCV-VP1 and Feline Calicivirus lysates as determined by ELISA and western blotting. It is suitable to detect Feline Calicivirus in infected cells with Immunofluorescence Assay. Optimal working dilutions should be determined experimentally by the investigator.
