Specificity: This antibody recognizes an epitope on HumanCD20. Antigen Distribution: CD20 is present on human pre B lymphocytes and on B lymphocytes, except on plasma cells, and is synchronous with the expression of surface IgM. It is also expressed in some follicular dendritic cells and at low levels on a T cell subset. Background: This antigen is involved in B cell activation and is associated with various Src family kinases. Therapy with antibodies against CD20 is a widely used regimen in the treatment of all B cell lymphomas and leukemias. Applications: (WB, FA) Literature also indicates this clone can be used for in vivo B cell depletion, IHC, IP and Flow Cytometry. Leinco’s In vivo GOLDTM and In vivo PLATINUMTM functional antibodies are manufactured in an animal free facility using only In vitro cell culture techniques and are purified by a multi-step process including the use of protein A or G to assure extremely low levels of endotoxins, leachable protein A or aggregates.
