The 53-6.7 monoclonal antibody reacts with mouse CD8α. CD8 is a transmembrane glycoprotein that acts as a co-receptor for the T cell receptor (TCR) and binds to class I MHC molecules. This antibody is primarily expressed on cytotoxic T cells and exhibits depleting activity in vivo.
