Specificity: Clone M1/70 recognizes the subunit (CD11b) of the mouse CD11b/CD18 complex. Antigen Distribution: CD11b is present on granulocytes, monocytes/macrophages, dendritic cells, NK cells and subsets of T and B cells. Background: The CD11b/CD18 antigen is a heterodimeric surface glycoprotein on leukocytes and is in the ß2 integrin family. CD11b (165-170 kDa) is a receptor for C3bi complement, clotting factor X, fibrinogen and ICAM-1. Applications: (IP, WB, FA) M1/70 may not block cell-mediated lysis, but may block cell adherence and C3bi binding. M1/70 cross-reaction may occur with CD11b expressed on human monocytes, polymorphonuclear leukocytes, and NK cells. Leinco’s In vivo GOLDTM and In vivo PLATINUMTM functional antibodies are manufactured in an animal free facility using only In vitro cell culture techniques and are purified by a multi-step process including the use of protein A or G to assure extremely low levels of endotoxins, leachable protein A or aggregates.
