Specificity: This antibody recognizes an epitope on mouse CD25. Antigen Distribution: CD25 is expressed in activated T cells and B cells, thymocyte subset, pre-B cells, T regulatory cells. Background: CD25, a 55 kD glycoprotein, has been shown to play roles in lymphocyte differentiation, activation, and proliferation. Applications: (IP, WB) Alone, the CD25 binds IL-2 with relatively low affinity. However, when CD25 associates with CD122 and CD132, the complex binds IL-2 with high affinity. Clone PC61 is commonly used to deplete CD4+FoxP3+ T regulatory cells In vivo. Leinco’s In vivo GOLDTM and In vivo PLATINUMTM functional antibodies are manufactured in an animal free facility using only In vitro cell culture techniques and are purified by a multi-step process including the use of protein A or G to assure extremely low levels of endotoxins, leachable protein A or aggregates.
