Specificity: This antibody recognizes an epitope on mouse CD278, a 47-57 kD protein. Antigen Distribution: ICOS is expressed on activated T cells and APCs including splenic B cells, dendritic cells, and macrophages. Background: It enhances all basic T cell responses to a foreign antigen, namely proliferation, secretion of lymphokines, up-regulation of molecules that mediate cell-cell interaction, and effective help for antibody secretion by B cells. ICOS signaling is an important regulator for T cell homeostasis. Applications: (WB, B, FA) This clone has been shown to block binding of ICOSL to ICOS.
