Specificity: Clone RMP1-14 recognizes an epitope on mouse PD-1. Antigen distribution: PD-1 is expressed on a subset of CD4-CD8- thymocytes, and on activated T and B cells. Background: PD-1 is a 50-55 kD member of the Ig superfamily and is suspected to play a role in lymphocyte clonal selection and peripheral tolerance. The ligands of PD-1 are PD-L1 (B7-H1) and PD-L2 (B7-DC). The ligands are members of the B7 Ig superfamily. Applications: (WB, B) Clone RMP1-14 has been reported to block the binding of PD-1 to its ligands and to inhibit T cell proliferation and cytokine production. Leinco’s In vivo GOLDTM and In vivo PLATINUMTM functional antibodies are manufactured in an animal free facility using only In vitro cell culture techniques and are purified by a multi-step process including the use of protein A or G to assure extremely low levels of endotoxins, leachable protein A or aggregates.
