Specificity: This antibody recognizes an epitope on mouse CD4. Antigen Distribution: CD4 is a 55 kD glycoprotein expressed on the surface of T helper cells, regulatory T cells, monocytes, macrophages, and dendritic cells. Background: CD4 interacts with class II molecules of the major histocompatibility complex (MHC) enhancing the signal for T-cell activation. Applications: (WB, B) Anti-Mouse CD4, clone GK1.5 antibody is able to block CD4 mediated cell adhesion and T cell activation. Additionally, binding of GK1.5 antibody to CD4 T cells can be blocked by RM4-5 antibody. Leinco’s In vivo GOLDTM and In vivo PLATINUMTM functional antibodies are manufactured in an animal free facility using only In vitro cell culture techniques and are purified by a multi-step process including the use of protein A or G to assure extremely low levels of endotoxins, leachable protein A or aggregates.
