Specificity: Clone I3/2.3 recognizes an epitope on mouse CD45. Antigen Distribution: CD45 is expressed on all hematopoietic cells other than mature erythrocytes and platelets. Background: CD45 is a 180-240kD glycoprotein member of the PTP family that plays a key role in TCR and BCR signal transduction. CD45 also serves as a negative regulator of cytokine receptor signaling. Applications: (FC) Antibodies against the different isoforms of CD45 are used to distinguish between histological sections from lymphomas and carcinomas and, in immunohistochemistry, to differentiate between immune cell types. The use of Clone I3/2.3 for IHC-P and IHC-F has been reported in literature. Leinco’s In vivo GOLDTM and In vivo PLATINUMTM functional antibodies are manufactured in an animal free facility using only In vitro cell culture techniques and are purified by a multi-step process including the use of protein A or G to assure extremely low levels of endotoxins, leachable protein A or aggregates.
