Specificity: Clone YN1/1.7.4 recognizes an epitope on mouse CD54. Antigen Distribution: CD54 is expressed on endothelial cells, HEVs, lymphocytes, dendritic cells, T and B cells, monocytes/ macrophages and granulocytes. Background: CD54 is 90 kD and in the Ig superfamily. CD54 has a role in immune reactions and inflammation via lymphocyte trafficking. It is a marker of endothelial dysfunction. Applications: (WB, FA) YN1/1.7.4 has been reported to function in antigen presentation to T cells and leukocyte migration to inflammatory tissues. It has also been reported to block binding of mouse CD54 to LFA-1 and Mac-1, and to inhibit cell to cell adhesion. Leinco’s In vivo GOLDTM and In vivo PLATINUMTM functional antibodies are manufactured in an animal free facility using only In vitro cell culture techniques and are purified by a multi-step process including the use of protein A or G to assure extremely low levels of endotoxins, leachable protein A or aggregates.
