Specificity: Clone HK2.1 recognizes Thy-1.1 & Thy-1.2 alloantigens of all mouse strains tested. Antigen Distribution: CD90 is expressed on hematopoietic stem cells, thymocytes, a subset of peripheral blood T cells, early myeloid & erythroid progenitors, immature B cells, neurons, activated endothelium, mast cells, dendritic cells & glomeruli. Background: CD90 is a 28-30 kD GPI-linked membrane glycoprotein & is part of the Ig superfamily. It interacts with CD45 in signal transduction during lymphocyte proliferation & differentiation. CD90 mediates adhesion of thymocytes to thymic stroma. Applications: (WB, FA) Clone HK2.1 has been implicated in activation of T-cells. Leinco’s In vivo GOLDTM & In vivo PLATINUMTM functional antibodies are manufactured in an animal free facility using only In vitro cell culture techniques & are purified by a multi-step process including the use of protein A or G to assure extremely low levels of endotoxins, leachable protein A or aggregates.
