Specificity: Clone 33D1 recognizes mouse DCIR2. Antigen Distribution: DCIR2 was reported on dendritic cell populations from mouse thymus, spleen lymph nodes and Peyer patches. Bone marrow dendritic cells require GM-CSF to express DCIR2, and this expression is downregulated in the presence of IL-4. DCIR2 has been detected in vivo in brain dendritic cells post infection with Toxoplasma gondii. Background: Dendritic cells (DC) are a small subpopulation of lymphoid cells with distinctive cytologic features, surface properties, and functions. Applications: (WB) Clone 33D1 monoclonal antibody reacts with mouse dendritic cell (DC), specific surface marker, and DCIR2. Leinco’s In vivo GOLDTM and In vivo PLATINUMTM functional antibodies are manufactured in an animal free facility using only In vitro cell culture techniques and are purified by a multi-step process including the use of protein A or G to assure extremely low levels of endotoxins, leachable protein A or aggregates.
