Specificity: Clone RA3-6B2 recognizes the B-cell determinant (Mr 220 kD) of the CD45 molecule. Antigen Distribution: The CD45R antigen is present on mouse B-cells, B-cell precursors and lytically active subsets of lymphokine-activated killer cells (NK cells and non-MHC restricted CTL). Background: CD45R is part of the protein tyrosine phosphatase family and is an isoform of CD45 with a molecular weight of 180-240 kD. CD45 isoforms are known to play roles in T and B cell antigen receptor signal transduction. Applications: (WB, FA) Clone RA3-6B2 has been reported to inhibit in vivo B-cell responses and to heighten isotype switching during in vitro B-cell responses. Leinco’s In vivo GOLDTM and In vivo PLATINUMTM functional antibodies are manufactured in an animal free facility using only In vitro cell culture techniques and are purified by a multi-step process including the use of protein A or G to assure extremely low levels of endotoxins, leachable protein A or aggregates.
