Specificity: Clone UC3-10A6 recognizes mouse Vγ2 TCR. Antigen Distribution: T lymphocytes with Vγ2 TCR populate the majority of γ/δ TCR cells in peripheral lymphoid tissues. Background: The TCR heterodimer recognizes antigens bound to MHC. While the majority consist of α and β chains, some heterodimers consist of γ and δ chains. Vγ2 TCR is associated with the TCR δ chain, and is a member of the Ig superfamily. γ/δ TCR cells are suspected to partake in immunological surveillance for stress-induced self-antigens. Elevated Vγ2 expression is influenced by the TCR-δ locus. Applications: (IP, WB) Clone UC3-10A6 has been shown to deplete γ/δ T cells when administered In vivo. Leinco’s In vivo GOLDTM and In vivo PLATINUMTM functional antibodies are manufactured in an animal free facility using only In vitro cell culture techniques and are purified by a multi-step process including the use of protein A or G to assure extremely low levels of endotoxins, leachable protein A or aggregates.
