The p75 neurotrophin receptor (p75NTR) is also known as the low-affinity NGF receptor (LNGFR) or CD271. Verified for use with immunohistochemistry assays, use this antibody in applications requiring the detection of the extracellular domain of the neurotrophin receptor p75NTR from rat. This antibody is useful for the detection of all cells expressing p75NTR on their surface, such as motor neurons in the spinal cord, cholinergic basal forebrain neurons, activated Schwann cells, olfactory ensheathing glial cells, and numerous cell lines.
