- How the kit works:
- In column chromatography, the mixture to be analyzed is applied to the top of the column, and the eluent is passed through by gravity or air pressure. As equilibrium is established between the adsorbed solutes and the flowing solvent, the mixture components move at different rates due to their varying interactions with the stationary and mobile phases, resulting in separation. The individual components are then collected as they elute from the bottom of the column
