Apcin-A is a small-molecule inhibitor that selectively targets the cell division cycle protein Cdc20. It competitively binds the D-box pocket of Cdc20 to inhibit APC/C-Cdc20-mediated substrate ubiquitination, blocking binding of proteins such as securin and cyclin B1 and interfering with anaphase initiation. Supplied as a research reagent for cellular and biochemical studies.
- Selective Cdc20 inhibition for mitotic regulation studies.
- Derivative of apcin that blocks substrate ubiquitination.
- High purity (98.0%) for reproducible results.
- Soluble in DMSO at 100 mg/mL for convenient stock solutions.
- Solid, off-white to yellow appearance; stable under recommended storage.
- Intended for research use only; not for human or clinical use.
