The AR36L2C9 growth chamber is designed for growth of Arabidopsis thaliana and low light plant growth applications. SciWhite with red LEDs are dimmable from 10-100% output with up to 350 µmoles/m2/s irradiance @ 6". Upgraded IntellusUltraConnect control system. Interior/exterior of smooth white galvanized steel with foamed-in-place non-CFC insulation and a stainless-steel floor for corrosion resistance. Special airflow design insulates shelf level experiments from heat generated by underlying light fixtures. Two tiers of epoxy coated steel wire shelving slide easily on stainless steel rail assemblies. Self-contained air-cooled condensing unit with hot gas bypass system for continuous compressor, precise temperature control by alternately cycling refrigerant and hot gas to coil; this also prolongs life of compressor, and eliminates risk of ice build up in coil.
