The AR36L3C9 growth chamber is designed for growth of Arabidopsis thaliana and low light plant growth applications. SciWhite with red LEDs are dimmable from 10-100% output with up to 350 µmoles/m2/s irradiance @ 6". Upgraded IntellusUltraConnect control system. Interior/exterior smooth white galvanized steel with foamed-in-place non-CFC insulation and stainless-steel floor for corrosion resistance. Special airflow design insulates shelf level experiments from heat generated by underlying light fixtures. Three tiers of epoxy coated steel wire shelving slide easily on stainless steel rail assemblies. Self-contained air-cooled condensing unit and hot gas bypass system for continuous compressor, precise temperature control by alternately cycling refrigerant and hot gas to coil; this prolongs compressor life, and eliminates risk of ice build up in coil.
