Description

Endogenous free fatty acid (in water-soluble emulsion)

Endogenous free fatty acid released from phospholipids by phospholipase A2, in water-soluble emulsion (for details see TocrisolveTM 100, Cat. No. 1684). Important cellular signaling mediator and precursor of eicosanoids. Metabolized by lipoxygenases, cyclooxygenases and cytochrome P450 monooxygenases.
