Immunogen: The immunogen Trinitrophenal (TNP) is a hapten that is not expressed on human, mouse, rat, or non-human primate cells. Background: Isotype controls are 1o antibodies, used as negative controls, that lack specificity to the target, but match the class and type of the 1o antibody used in the application. They are used to differentiate non-specific background signal from specific antibody signal. Applications: This isotype control antibody should be used at the same concentration as the primary antibody. Leinco’s In vivo GOLDTM and In vivo PLATINUMTM functional antibodies are manufactured in an animal free facility using only In vitro cell culture techniques and are purified by a multi-step process including the use of protein A or G to assure extremely low levels of endotoxins, leachable protein A or aggregates.
