AS-Inclisiran sodium is the antisense of Inclisiran, a double-stranded small interfering RNA (siRNA) molecule that inhibits the transcription of PCSK9. It also inhibits Pyroptosis, activates PPARγ, and reduces NLRP3, cleaved caspase-1, IL-1β, and IL-18. It possesses anti-inflammatory, lipid-regulating, and anti-atherosclerotic activities. AS-Inclisiran sodium, as the antisense strand, lacks the complementary strand and its GalNAc modification, and therefore has no liver targeting property. It is for research use only and not sold to patients.
