Applied Biosystems™ Axiom™ Multispecies Plant Genotyping Array, (384HT format)
Description
The Axiom Multispecies Plant Genotyping Array was designed in collaboration with Drs. Dario Grattapaglia and Orzenil B. Silva Junior, research scientists connected to Embrapa and Universidade Catolica de Brasilia, Brazil, with funding from CNPq grants. This array is also available in mini-96 format (Cat. No. 551231).
The array contains markers from multiple plant species:
- Anacardium occidentale (Cashew nut tree): 16,504 SNPs
- SNP discovery was conducted from whole-genome individual resequencing of 25 diverse accessions
- Manihot esculenta (Cassava): 3,417 SNPs
- SNP discovery was obtained from 20 resequenced accessions by JGI (NCBI data)
- Araucaria angustifolia (Brazilian pine): 3,400 SNPs
- SNP discovery was obtained from reduced representations of RAD and RNAseq data
- Eucalyptus grandis (Eucalyptus tree): 2,000 SNPs
- Current validated markers from the public domain
