Azide-PEG4-Tos is a PEG-based PROTAC linker for PROTAC synthesis. It acts as a click chemistry reagent with an Azide group, enabling copper-catalyzed azide-alkyne cycloaddition (CuAAc) with Alkyne groups, or strain-promoted alkyne-azide cycloaddition (SPAAC) with DBCO or BCN groups. PROTACs use two linked ligands, one targeting an E3 ubiquitin ligase and the other a protein of interest, to selectively degrade proteins via the ubiquitin-proteasome system.
