BactoView™ Live dyes are fluorogenic live cell bacterial stains. The stains are bright and cell-permeable, they are able to stain both gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria. Stained cells can be detected by fluorescence microscopy or flow cytometry. BactoView™ Live dyes can stain both live and dead bacteria, though dead cells tend to stain a bit brighter than live cells. BactoView™ Live Green can be detected in the FITC channel for flow cytometry and microscopy. Properties: Liquid; Ex/Em= 500/520 nm; Store at 4°C and protect from light.
