The Micro 100 Ball End Mill Carbide is a 2-flute ball end mill made of solid carbide with a TiAlN coating. It has a 1/4" shank diameter, 1/2" cutting diameter, and 2" overall length. This 2-flute design provides good chip ejection and finish. The TiAlN coating improves tool life and heat resistance. It can machine steels, stainless steels, cast iron, hardened steels, titanium, and nickel alloys. It has a center cutting design for plunging capability. Recommended speeds are 18,000-22,000 RPM with .001-.004" per tooth feed rates. It is well-suited for complex 3D contouring and profiling with its ball end geometry.
