Accommodates and holds one Micro-Sample Insert Rack in the U-2D System. Made of low weight polypropylene plastic, they comply with ANSI standards for 96 well plates. When used with Racks of Inserts, the unique molded bottoms allow each insert to be supported on the bottom. Use in a vortex mixer or water bath can be used with enhanced performance. Also most plate readers can be used. Bases are reusable and can be refrigerated.
