Day, night, seasons and phases of the moon are all effectively demonstrated with this model. A detailed, 11 page instruction manual is included. The scale of the model is 1 inch equals 2000 miles. Please note that if the sun were to be shown at the same scale, it would be approximately 36 feet in diameter.
