This media is prepared, stored, and dispensed under oxygen-free conditions to prevent the formation of oxidized products prior to use. This medium is also available in a 4-plate package or packaged with other media types in a single convenience pack.Bacteroides Bile Esculin (BBE) agar is an enriched, selective, and differential medium used for the isolation & presumptive ID of obligately anaerobic gram-negative bacilli of the Bacteroides fragilis group and Bilophila wadsworthia. Laked Brucella Blood Agar with Kanamycin and Vancomycin (LKV) is an enriched, selective, and differential medium for the isolation and partial identification of obligately anaerobic gram-negative bacilli. LKV agar is useful for the rapid isolation of Prevotella species.
