A patented media-free collection system designed to collect aerobic specimens and maintain viability during transport

  • No specimen dilution with this dry system and no ampule to crush
  • Transport system eliminates the organism overgrowth and nonviables typically present in agar-based systems
  • Aerobic microorganisms remain viable for approximately 48 hours
  • Features rounded tube bottom for easier handling, and water-resistant film packing with tamper-evident seal
  • BD CultureSwab EZ II is similar to BD CultureSwab EZ except formatted as a dual swab system, allowing for simultaneous gram staining and other direct antigen testing
