Simplifies large-volume stirring

  • Safely and effectively mixes using inert PTFE magnetic stir bars
  • Load capacity: 485 lb. (220 kg), allows stirring in standard plastic drum
  • Variable speed control to 600 rpm (for gentle stirring); full depth vortex for aggressive agitation
  • Direct-drive, air-cooled 100w (0.125 hp) motor
  • Optimal results with stir bars from 76 to 160 mm in length
  • Internal aluminum frame and polypropylene platform
  • Insulated housing prevents heat transfer to sample solution
  • Sturdy polypropylene side panels protect components and are easy to clean
