Description

Prevents stirring bars from pouring out when emptying containers.

Keeps the stirring bar where it belongs

When the stirring in a beaker or flask is completed and contents are to be poured out, the stirring bar may fall out and splash. To avoid this, the arrester is held against the bottom of the beaker, creating a magnetic field which holds the stirring bar in place while pouring.

Order Info

The arrester is 3/8 in. (9.5mm) thick polyethylene, 2 in. (51mm) diameter with a radial magnet. Other sizes can be made to order.
