Capsule prevents stirring bar from spinning off center and damaging pH probes and gels.

  • Polygon magnetic stirring bar spins within polystyrene capsule
  • Prevents damage during pH adjustments and to gels during staining/destaining procedures
  • Large, flat capsule keeps stirring bar consistently centered on bottom of vertical electrophoresis units to efficiently mix the running buffer
  • Prevents stirring bar from being impeded by chemicals which, in water, transform into sticky gel and enables efficient dissolving
  • After use, capsule can be easily disassembled for cleaning
