Product DescriptionBES (N,N-bis(2-hydroxyethyl)-2-aminoethanesulfonic acid) saline buffer has a concentration of 2X and a pH of 7.1 at 25°C. BES is a zwitterionic buffer used in biochemistry and molecular biology, and has been used to study versatile catalyst precursors for mild hydrocarboxylation of alkanes to carboxylic acids. BES was used to determine that saline buffers minimize the action of interfering factors in the bacterial endotoxins test. This saline buffer contains 50 mM BES, 1.5 mM Na2HPO4, and 280 mM NaCl.For laboratory use only. Not fit for agricultural, household, clinical use or human consumption.
