Description

For the qualitative detection of Streptococcus pyogenes Group A antigen from throat swab specimens.

A membrane coated with rabbit anti-Strep A and rabbit anti-goat antibodies is combined with a rabbit anti-Strep A/goat IgG conjugate cocktail in a hinged test device.

  • Extraction Reagent On—e2M sodium nitrite with Tween 20
  • Extraction Reagent Two–0.125M acetic acid with Tween 20
  • Sterile Swabs—Designed for use in the NOW Strep A Test
  • Positive Control Swab–Heat inactivated Streptococcus pyogenes Group A dried onto swab
