Bio-Pulverizer instrument turns cryogenic frozen tissue into fine powder ready for analysis. This ''freeze-fracture'' method processes difficult to digest tissue such as skin cartilage, cornea, hair, nails and fresh bone. Also effective for extracting temperature labile metabolites, proteins and nucleic acids from soft tissue.

Place frozen tissue into pre-chilled chamber, insert pestle and strike with a hammer. The compression force of the pestle instantly turns brittle tissue into fine powder. Powdered tissue transfers easily without loss by inverting unit over a test tube. Supplied with hammer.
