The I36NLH6 incubator is frequently used for C. elegans, nematodes, yeast/fungi, insects, bacteria and BOD. Interior / exterior of smooth white galvanized steel with foamed-in-place non-CFC insulation and a stainless-steel floor for corrosion resistance. Pan-type humidifier, dehumidifier, and adv. sensor tightly control humidity. Six white epoxy coated steel wire shelves adjustable in ½” increments. Self-contained air-cooled condensing unit with hot gas bypass system for continuous compressor operation extends life, ensuring precise temperature control by alternately cycling refrigerant and hot gas to coil; this also prolongs life of compressor, and eliminates risk of ice build up in coil.
