CD24 is a GPI-linked glycoprotein involved in cell adhesion and is a ligand for CD62P (P-selectin). It is expressed on erthrocytes, thymocytes, peripheral lymphocytes and myeloid lineage cells. The expression of CD24 is used to delineate stages of of lymphocyte development in the bone marrow.
