Goats were immunized with highly purified guinea pig C3 and the resulting antiserum was collected. Antibody was immunoaffinity purified off a guinea pig C3 containing immunosorbent and conjugated with fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC). Antibody concentration was determined using an absorbance at 280 nm: 1.4 equals 1.0 mg of IgG. FITC/Protein Ratio = 3.0 – 6.0. : This antibody will react with guinea pig C3 as determined by ELISA and IEP techniques. It is suitable for blotting, ELISA and IF applications. This antibody may cross react with C3 from other species. Optimal working dilutions should be determined experimentally by the investigator.
